Nitin Agarwal - a ManDevIan from the PGPM Class of 2008 and thefounder of a unique enterprise "Chakh Le India" was recently featuredon CNBC TV-18s show "Young Turks Transformers"- which focuses onenterpreneurs who are proving to be game changers. Click here for the video.

Nitin started this venture with initial capital of Rs.25 lakhs while he was still in the 2nd year of his course at MDI.The initial idea was to provide healthy and hygienic street food andthis he realised by establishing a unique hub and spoke model.The foodproducts are produced at a central kitchen in Gurgaon from where itreaches the end consumers via the "Chakh Le India" pushcarts positionednext to various markets and corporate offices in Gurgaon region.

Various challenges that Nitin has faced both on the personal andprofessional front, haven't deterred him from realizing his dream. MDI toohas helped him in this journey  by providing him guidance to refine hisbusiness model and office space on campus to run his operations.

Withhis venture already registering turnover of over 60 Lakhs at a healthymargin of 40%, Nitin is all set to scale it up. He has plans to raisearound 8 crores of VC funding and take his venture to 7-8 metrocities across India.

"Chakh Le India" has provided healthy, hygienic and tasty alternativeto the usual street food to its customers and Nitin has already tastedsuccess.
